GAGA UK IMPACT REPORT 2023/24 Our Year At A Glance Our funding decisions are based on first-hand information and targeted to the communities most in need. We are very grateful to our ambassadors and partners on the ground who provide such valuable insight. The support of our loyal community of donors enables us to make a real difference when it is needed most, from infancy to independence. The Baby Wellness Clinic at 1000 Hills Community Helpers has seen 2,268 babies in the last 12 months. Thanks to GAGA UK and our corporate partner Adiuvo, we were able to fund a primary class at Kilimanjaro Young Girls in Need school. With the help of our UK Trust and Foundation partners two major infrastructure projects have been implemented at the school in the last 12 months. Through the Sangobeg Scholarship Programme, we were able to support 13 students to begin or continue tertiary education in South Africa. The Othandweni 24 bed Respite Unit at Hillcrest Aids Centre Trust served a total of 166 patients in 2023. GAGA UK funding sponsors a bed in this unit.
